Guys and Holidays

Hello dear people,

It was a very motivated walk, I should say. I woke up at 11: 30 this morning. And really it took all the encouraging talk to get me straightened up for jogging. It is holiday today on the event of the 60 years of my country being a Republic. So, a holiday means the whole day screening of cricket matches in the nearby playground. It was chaos, with them screaming and shouting and howling… Well what better could I have expected with guys and a game of cricket!!!!!!

No pictures today as well… I just focussed on jogging and wanted to get outta there as soon as possible. It wasn’t sunny as yesterday but somehow I lived…

There were many squirrels today as well. Oh! I love them. They are so full of energy all day long and I wonder how and where this energy comes from. They don’t have any health drinks, do they?

I am looking forward for tomorrow coz I know it is gonna be quieter than today. Until then…

From Daredevils to Birthday Babies

Ratz says:

It was a fog- less morning and it was just perfect. Early sun rise and less cold… My walk plus jog happened before noon today. It was completely out of schedule for me but there was an urge that I couldn’t resist.

So after coming back from my class, I hopped onto my jogging shoes, donned on my sweat shirt and started off in that warm sun. The park was a haven at that time of the day. So many birds of all kinds pigeons, doves, crows, mynahs, sparrows, squirrels and oh! boy lots of them. It looked like the scene from a Disney movie and being a Disney fan I enjoyed it completely.

There was a group of old women chatting and knitting and they were all the additional colours that the park hued with. It was a beautiful sunny noon and just the perfect sun to get a good tan and believe me you all could have got a great nap. The final leaves have fallen and it is a beautiful mess.

I started with my walk and then switched onto jogging and it felt so good. Sundays can sometimes wear one out and my Sunday wasn’t exactly as I had thought of. So, this afternoon was just the right balm for the wound.

I caught sight of this cute little dare devil basking in the sun. His brothers and sisters were hiding behind the bush where their mama had left them but this mister is the adventurous type, I guess. It coolly posed for me as if already used to the fame. I suppose it can go on and be a Disney character in the long term.

What could have been better than a little bud opened just a few moments before and celebrating its birthday. Happy birthday dear sweetie…

A great walk for me today… Hope it had been the same for you all…

Butterfly Fly Away

Ratz says:

Hello Dear People,

It feels just so great to be back writing here and even a greater feeling to go on my morning walks. I am so gratified by this morning.

I have been taken down by illness and though I haven’t recovered for the better, I sure do know that today’s walk had had a great change for me. Being at home and just repeating a monotonous schedule made me feel like trapped in a cocoon, without being able to stretch my arms and legs. It is like I haven’t been living and if ever I made a better decision, this certainly is one. I am never gonna sit like this, trapped like a bird wanting to fly far but could not.

Okay that is all for the sad story…

It was a beautiful morning and what a weather display! Have you ever heard the sound of silence? It is, I believe, the most beautiful sound. Being a weekend, there wasn’t a single soul on the road. So quiet it was, I felt like I should sing loud just to break the silence. But I can never forget the serenity it rendered me. The blocked thoughts, the crushed feelings all opened up to try for a last time to find solutions…

Please try to understand what I would I have felt then, it is a beautiful feeling. I hope that I am just delivering it right… I was just smiling all the way, a smile that comes when you know that this is where you belong…

And if the roads were bestowing such things, the park was just another beautiful fantasy land minus the fairies and the other fancies. It was covered with thick fog, fog, fog everywhere. So white and so transparent!! I walked for some time and then started to jog. Ten whole rounds did the trick for me. I felt like the fittest person if ever there was such a person ever…

There was the dew covered grass, the dew drops on the plants and leaves, the birds flying overhead, the squirrels- dear little angels, everything was just right.

I realised how much I had missed all of this… Nature is the best cure for all our problems…

I am still embracing this morning and I wish that everyone who is breaking down in life, turn to Nature and you will get a solution…
